I was really surprised this came in yesterday when the expected delivery date was July 5th--yay!

AMAZING Deal!

So, I'm getting ready to go to Sephora to haul haul haul...when I decide to just make my purchases online. That led me to their Urban Decay section, and I randomly thought to look at Urban Decay's website to compare prices/shipping/availabilty.

Look what I found for $10

No joke. Their Preen Shadow Box is only $10!!! I had never seen this one...wonder when it came out. But to think, I was about to spend $36 on The Black Palette at Sephora. I still had to pay $6.48 for shipping and tax, but I was not about to miss out on this deal--it's still almost 50% off. This time around, I really don't care which UD palette I get. I just hope that when I get around to purchasing the others, they aren't sold out.

Juicy Couture Love

I like Juicy scents but I don't own any yet. I love little collector sets for fragrance and this way I can have almost all of them.

Their bags are kind of loud sometimes. They scream JUICYCOUTURE!!!!!!1 But I found these two very cute and I like the mainly neutral coloring.

The tote doesn't say Juicy at all and I'm into ombre, especially since the colors used are a couple of my favorites. And it is HUGE. Not the cheapest bag, but it would fit a lot of school stuff.

Skin You're In

 One mask is $42 for 1.8 oz and the other is $3.99 for 6oz. Not too hard to figure out, so funny! But the Elemis is worth it. Ever since I spent a few days with a sample, I've been wanting a full bottle. The Freeman mask has been fine (very helpful) but it's just not the same.

Acne myths: Caused by foods we eat/dirty skin.
Fact: Caused by bacteria that live beneath the surface and hormones.

Myth: You should scrub scrub scrub your face when you wash, to get all the dead skin, dirt and oil off.
Fact: Be as gentle as possible using only your fingers.

Myth: Sunscreen isn't always necessary.
Fact: Use it everyday you'll be exposed to the sun!!! Meaning...everyday.

Myth: Oily skin doesn't need moisturizer.

Fact: Using an oil free moisturizer will help regulate your skin.

Myth: Salycilic acid is the best acne fighter.

Fact: Benzoyl Peroxide is what works best for me and is a main ingredient in Zapzyt, Proactiv, and other great products.

Myth: Never pop a pimple.

Fact: If the gross stuff is visible on the surface (blackhead/whitehead) there are safe ways to EXTRACT it. There are also professionals who will do this for you!!

 My skin is wonderful these days, since visiting the derm. And it wasn't as expensive as I thought it would be! One of my meds is $5 and the other was $300...but the Dr. gave me a coupon to get it for free. I only had to attend one $50 visit...If you're having trouble with your skin, it's a much better investment to see a dermatologist than to waste $$$ on all these "miracle" products.

NARS Cosmetics Update

I have decided that I need this eyeshadow duo.

In the shade Cordura. I didn't think I'd want a duo until I saw a tutorial with this one and did some research on it...lots of girls have this as their HG everyday go-to shadow! I don't buy things because of hype, but I can see for myself that I'd love it.

I wonder if there are any dupes in the Naked palette...I kinda doubt it. I thought I could find the lighter color in Cordura as a NARS single, but every shade is different.

And I could've snatched a photo of Cordura and given credit, but decided getting the plain image from Sephora was less like "stealing" HA. When I get it, I'll post my own pic, maybe even with swatches on different skin tones : )

NARS, You are so Tempting

I will start off by saying that I LOVE Temptalia and Makeupalley for swatches, previews and reviews. Priceless resources for those shopping for beauty products! I've (pretty much) only listed shades/items that are available on Sephora's website...trust me, there are others I want, HA. I definitely plan to hit up Sephora on/around my birthday so that's why I'm sticking with this shop for now (and maybe ULTA, hmmm).

Might Need More Shoe Space...

Today is Sunday and I'm still not done shindowing (window shopping--haha!) so I won't catch the extra 20% off and might not get the items before the semi-annual sale is over, either. But I still have my $20 off, so I'm fine with that.

Some Victoria's Secret shoes I'm eyeing:

They're just interesting...I imagine them paired with a simple little black dress (LBD) or even dressing up jeans & a white tee.

Who in the world is this Colin Stuart, anyway? His flip flops are on sale for $7-$10 and I like the Rocket Dog look of the first ones.
